Introducing a New Universal Framed Opening Clip

To improve efficiency in framed opening installation, we are reducing the number of unique clips that are currently needed with a new universal framed opening clip. The mark number for this clip is FOC32, and it will replace the following set of clips — JCT02, JCT13, FOC94, FOC95, FOC96, JCT01, JBC02, JBC03, HCJ01, HCJ02.

In addition to the universal framed opening clip, the new FOC30 clip will provide better protection against concrete fracturing when connecting jambs to a finished floor.

Critical Dates: The FOC30 and FOC32 clips were introduced in our Design and Detailing software tools December 20, 2024, and will be supplied for all orders processed with these tools moving forward.
