Grand Cru Wine Production Facility
Title 24 Requirements Met Utilizing Insulated Metal Panels
Grand Cru Custom Crush is a co-op wine production business producing 25,000 cases of wine per year. The facility was designed using inspiration from a historical building overlooking the ocean in Cayucos, California. This inspiration was carried forward to symbolize the artisan craft within their wines.
The Grand Cru facility is a 143’ wide pre-engineered CBC multi span building with a 1- 1/2 in 12 pitched roof. The building has a total length of 203’ 8” with the last 28’ being a roof only covered crush area. The mechanical components of the building are attached to the side of the main facility and occupy a 25’ by 63’ area. The 19’ eave height helps to accommodate 66 wine tanks that hold 85,000 gallons and 2,240 barrels. Title 24 requirements were met utilizing insulated panels in the roof and walls.
