Clear Span Storage Buildings

These metal chip separation and storage buildings total 9,000 sf. The two-story gable symmetrical buildings are enclosed with FL40 insulated metal wall panels and an SR2 insulated standing seam roof system.

To allow for ample, unobstructed storage space, a clear span frame was utilized. The 8’ masonry walls with wall deletions provide air flow and natural light for working in the California climate.

The first of a multi-phase construction project for Sorenson Engineering. which was founded in 1956. They have been delivering ultra-precise micro technology solutions for over 65 years. Offering a multitude of solutions for customers component needs, Sorenson chose a custom pre-engineered CBC Steel Buildings structure for their metal chip separation and storage facilities. With the eventual completion of three additional buildings, the project will total over 42,000 sf.
