Hangar with Radiused Connected Building

This aircraft maintenance hangar for ACI Jet Solutions is a 240’ long clear span pre-engineered CBC steel building system with a 190’ long radiused frame building connected to the main hangar to house the mechanics shops and part rooms. Brace frames were engineered and designed to allow for future access points within the braced bay.

The structural roof framing system supports the crane rails and 1.5 ton bridge crane utilized within the main hangar. This project features a six panel bi-parting power operated hangar door approximately 180’ long x 28’ tall.
